tanning tips

do

the night before tanning

shave + exfoliate so the tan won't cling to dry skin patches
moisturize

apply a small amount of moisturizer to drier areas (hands, feet, knees + elbows) to prevent the tan from sticking + overdeveloping
use a mitt

rub + blend in thoroughly to ensure even coverage. rinse hands after tanning so they don't go too dark!

don't

use too much product

a little goes a long way! we recommend 1-2 pumps per limb
apply a full pump to hands + feet

just use what's leftover on your mitt!
use harsh soaps + scrubs

to help extend the life of your tan

everyone’s skin is different, and reactions like redness or irritation can happen if your skin is sensitive to a particular ingredient. for this reason, we always recommend doing a patch test before applying any self tan to a larger area, especially if you have reactive or sensitive skin.

we’d suggest discontinuing use of the product immediately and allowing your skin to fully settle. since the product wasn’t suitable for your skin, the best next step would be to return it to the retailer you purchased it from, as they’ll be able to assist you with their return process. please let us know if you have any other questions 💖

Glow your own way self tanner
The instructions were not clear the instructions one the bottle are different then the website it is very dark so only apply 1 layer. Do not put on hands no matter what because they get very streaky and dark. Disappointed will not be researching or using again. Definitely do not recommend.

to avoid a streaky tan, make sure you're not using too much product (use only 1-2 pumps per limb) and make sure you rub it into your skin until completely dry! always wash your hands after applying as they absorb product as you're tanning and the skin on our hands absorb more product than our body/legs! for tanning your hands, use a mitt or brush over the top of a moisturiser/lotion for best results and only use a very small amount! xx
