We recommend holding the gun at the top of your shoulders pointing the head of the gun down to let it mist over your back. Then, use your mitt and the back of your hand to reach further up and blend it all in for even coverage.

We find there is minimal overspray with our Bronze Babe Home Spray Tan Machine!

We do recommend spraying over a towel to catch what falls from your body, as this is the most overspray that will occur. Or you can tan in your shower and easily wash the excess product away.

Any overspray that does occur on walls around you, you can simply wipe away after application with no left-over damage.

The Bronze Babe Home Spray Tan Kit comes with a 8oz Double Dark Pro Spray Mist which will achieve approximately 4 full body applications. We recommend using 85 ml per spray tan - just be sure there's enough solution in the cup for the spout to pick up! For darker results, double coat.

You can use most spray tan solutions designed for use in professional spray tan equipment! Although rare, we do not recommend aloe vera based solutions to keep the gun from clogging. Water based solutions are preferred, and clean the gun after each use to help with any clogging.

This Bronze Babe Home Spray Tan Kit is designed for lower volume, personal home use. We recommend using our Tan.Handy or Bronze Babe Professional for higher volume commercial use.

This might be due to an issue with the duck valve. Unscrew the cup of your Bronze Babe and inside the top nozzle you'll see a tiny black rubber piece. Remove this piece and squeeze it between your fingers a few times to ensure the small slit on the duct valve is open, then pop it back on. Make sure to properly clean your Bronze Babe after each use so it doesn't clog in the future.

We recommend starting on a lower to mid range so you can get used to working with it. After you have practiced a few times and feel comfortable, you can spray at a higher setting. The Bronze Babe Home is designed for little to no overspray, meaning the gun is low pressure. Most Bronze Babe Home users prefer the highest setting for darkest results.

All of our Pro Spray Mists have bronzers in them to act as a color guide, so you should be able to tell where you have sprayed. We recommend spraying all over then using your mitt to blend it all out for even coverage.

You may notice your spray tan equipment is greased at certain parts of the gun. This is not a leak! It is completely normal to ensure the gun is functioning properly and ready for shipment.

Is your gun still leaking?

Unscrew the cup of your Bronze Babe and ensure the tube is fully connected and inside the top nozzle you'll see a tiny black rubber piece. Remove this piece and squeeze it between your fingers a few times to ensure the small slit on the duck valve is open, then pop it back on. If the issue persist, reach out to our customer service team for help.

The Bronze Babe has low pressure to ensure no overspray, but to get the darkest tan use the highest setting on your Bronze Babe along with one of our darkest solutions (Ultra Dark or Absolute), & double coat!
