tanning tips

do

the night before tanning

shave + exfoliate so the tan won't cling to dry skin patches
moisturize

apply a small amount of moisturizer to drier areas (hands, feet, knees + elbows) to prevent the tan from sticking + overdeveloping
use a mitt

rub + blend in thoroughly to ensure even coverage. rinse hands after tanning so they don't go too dark!

don't

use too much product

a little goes a long way! we recommend 1-2 pumps per limb
apply a full pump to hands + feet

just use what's leftover on your mitt!
use harsh soaps + scrubs

to help extend the life of your tan

This is my favorite
I always struggled with self tan mousses settling into the microtears of my calves and clinging to dry patchy areas, especially as someone who suffers from psoriasis and eczema. The glow your own way tanners have seriously changed my life. They actually help me skin feel better and hydrated rather than dry and itchy. The color is beautiful and I’m obsessed with the shimmer on the in between days!! The scents are my favorite too, so summery. You definitely need to be a practiced self tanner so avoid using this incorrectly, but once you feel confident this will be your best friend!!

hi babe! our glow your own way self-tan gel has a shelf life of 12 months unopened and 6 months once opened. if it’s started to turn yellow, it’s a sign that it’s beginning to oxidize. while it’s still safe to use, we always recommend doing a patch test before applying it to your entire body!
