The GYOW tan mitt saves the day!!

The first time I used glow your own way it was not good! Lots of streaks my whole body was so many different shades, I felt like a Tabby!! But, then I found the glow your own way tanning mitt And that was a game changer! I would highly recommend it! It's double sided so it's got a pink rubbery side for even application and then an orange velvety side so that you can buff it in. Which is awesome since you're supposed to completely rub the tanning gel into your skin. I highly recommend it! <<BTW, just a heads up. When I ordered mine from b.tan, It came totally fused at the bottom to where I had to pull the pink side away from the middle foam part to make a spot for my hand, (i.e, check included pics) I actually thought for a second that they had sent me a defective one (makes me wonder how many people have sent theirs back due to this...), but then realized that's just how they come. Lol!

tanning tips

before

exfoliate and moisturize

24 hours before you apply your self tan, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem areas
wax or shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment.

this allows the pores time to close. dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.
don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup on the day of application.

these products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the tanning actives from developing evenly.

after

wear dark loose clothing

tight clothing or underwear may cause marks. wear loose fitting shoes.
moisturize everyday after applying your self tan

or consider using a gradual tan so that your tan is continually being topped up and your tan lasts longer.
after day 5, exfoliate with a soft body polish on a daily basis

this help your skin absorb even more moisturizer and keep it looking and feeling gorgeous. This also helps the tan fade naturally, rather than in patches.
